25 For Bell In England Defeat

Ian Bell hit 25 runs for England in their 158 run defeat against India in the first one day international.

In Rajkot, India batted first with Yuvraj Singh making 138 not out in India's score of 387-5 from fifty overs.

Coventrian Ian Bell caught both Verinder Sehwag and Yusef Pathan and made twenty five runs when England batted before he was caught by Doni off the bowling of Khan.

Skipper Kevin Pietersen top scored with 63 and Ravi Popara made 54 but England struggled to get near the target and were all out for 229 giving them a 158 run defeat.

The second one day international is on Monday in Indore.
