Press Statement

November 23rd 2007

Members of the Sky Blue Trust's board have today read, with interest, the front page story in the Coventry Telegraph regarding the names behind Geoffrey Robinson's consortium.

In response, Rachael Brown Chairperson for the Trust said:

"Clearly supporters of Coventry City Football Club will have grave reservations about the "Windsor" consortium if the information published in today's Coventry Telegraph is true.

Coincidentally, the Trust is due to meet with Geoffrey Robinson later today and our members will also be meeting with the other interested party next week. A list of identical questions will be put to both consortia. These are all questions asked by supporters over the last few weeks in various different arenas, including fans' message boards.

Following both meetings we will release the facts behind the respective bids to Trust members directly and all Coventry City supporters via the local press and through the fans' websites.

The Sky Blue Trust will also continue to hold discussions with third parties to gather the truth about the situation at Coventry City Football Club. The Sky Blue Trust will ensure that the supporters have a voice that is heard and listened to."
