Travel arrangements have been announced for the Pink concert at the Ricoh Arena on Thursday June 24th.

Anthony Mundy told the club website: "It is always advisable to arrive as early as you can to avoid being caught in traffic queues and we recommend everyone finalises their transport arrangements as soon as possible instead of leaving it until the day

"Bookings can be made either on-line at our official website or over the telephone for car park C or at the park and walk sites and, as always, our green travel plan means there will be no parking available on side streets around the venue.

"There will be extra buses provided from Pool Meadow bus station to the Ricoh and back again after the concert for a return fare of £3 and stewards will be on hand to give directions and help.

"The last trains will leave Coventry Station around 11.30pm heading to Birmingham and London and again there is a shuttle bus service costing £3 return to and from the station.

"We are asking taxi drivers to use Tesco's service road for pick-ups to ease traffic congestion around the official car-parks outside the venue.

"We want everyone to have a fantastic night and if P!nk fans could start thinking about how they are going to get to the Ricoh and home again then it will be to their benefit."

Parking in car park C is £15 for cars and it will remain open until midnight.

Drivers of cars and mini-buses heading to the park and walk sites at Christ the King in Wheelwright Lane and St Finbars FC in Holbrook Lane will be charged £10 per vehicle. Satellite navigation users should tap in CV7 9HR for Christ the King and CV6 4DJ for St Finbars which are both a ten-minute walk from the venue.

Mr Mundy said: "We would also urge commuters who usually travel home from work near the venue to consider a different route to avoid getting stuck in lengthy queues.

"We will be installing electronic signs along the A444 a few days beforehand to warn everyone that there is a major event taking place and these warnings will also be on the overhead signs on the M6."

Further information, including booking spaces for blue badge holders, is available from the car parking team at the Ricoh Arena on 0844 412 4633.

Tickets priced at £45 are still available.
