Take That today announced a brand new date for their 2009 summer stadium tour, The Circus Live, at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Gary, Howard, Jason and Mark will play in the stadium bowl on Tuesday, June 9, in their only Midlands date. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, November 26.

Take That Present: The Circus Live, broke all UK box office records when tickets for the 14-date stadium tour went on sale last month. Toppling Michael Jackson's 1987 Bad Tour as the fasting selling tour in UK history, an incredible 750,000 tickets were snapped up by fans across the country.

The band commented: "We were once again, totally astounded by the response and amazed at being able to break such records - we feel very privileged to be in this position at such a time. We promise to make this tour the very best shows we've ever done. See you in 2009 at the Ricoh Arena!"

Take That Present The Circus Live - Summer 2009, is Take That's biggest tour to date with a monumental 14 stadium dates across the UK including Wembley Stadium, Cardiff's Millennium Stadium and Hampden Park in Glasgow. The Circus - Live, promises to be the band's most visually dramatic, diverse and exhilarating tour yet.

Daniel Gidney, chief executive of the Ricoh Arena, said he was thrilled one of the world's best-loved bands would be performing at the venue.

"We always promised we would bring the best bands to the Ricoh Arena and we are fulfilling that by announcing Take That will be coming to the venue," he said.

"Take That have remained enduringly popular with a vast proportion of music fans since they first burst on to the scene in 1990.

"Their reunion has been a major success and this tour promises to be their most highly anticipated yet with a visually dramatic set and diverse play list with all their memorable early hits as well as tracks from their upcoming album.

"Last year's Beautiful World Tour was a sell-out and I would be incredibly surprised if Take That fans don't buy their tickets for the date at the Ricoh Arena extremely quickly.

"This has been an exciting few weeks since this news comes hot on the heels of the announcement of the Oasis gig here on July 7 and it is certainly going to be our best ever summer yet for high-profile concerts at the Ricoh Arena."

The tickets are priced at £45 and £55 and tickets booked on-line and over the telephone are subject to a 10 per cent booking fee. There is a maximum of six tickets per person regardless of payment method.
