The Ricoh Arena in Coventry has failed to land the Rugby League Magic Weekend.
The event, which has been at Old Trafford and the Millennium Stadium had been put up for bid and the Ricoh Arena had bid but Newcastle United, with a capacity some twenty thousand bigger at St James Park, were award the weekend which will happen in May 2015.
