Olympic Bosses In Town

High ranking officials from the London 2012 Olympic Games organising committee and the International Olympic Committee are in Coventry to see how the Ricoh Arena (City of Coventry Stadium) is being prepared in readiness for the games.

The stadium, which will be handed over to LOCOG on June 1st, will be staging mens and womens football from July 25th, will be toured by the delegates who will also see a demonstration of women's football.

The delegates will also be checking to see that work they have paid for is being carried out.

The stadium will be hosting a test event on Monday April 23rd when it stages a play-offs between Senegal and an Asian country for a place in the Summer Games.
