Away Fans Directions to Southampton Football Club Park & Ride. Visiting supporters are advised not to travel by private car into Southampton City Centre on a match day and instead use the dedicated park and ride service specifically for away fans. The park and ride site will start operating 2 hours before any kick-off time at a charge of £3 per vehicle payable on entry. Please follow the directions below to find your way to the visiting supporters car park.Special buses will transport you to / from The Friends Provident St. Mary's Stadium.
From M27, exit at Junction 8 Follow signs for Southampton A3024 .Follow the A3024 for approximately 200 yards to the Tesco roundabout. Take 2nd exit following signs for Woolston A3025 into Hamble Lane. After approximately 100 yards, turn right at mini roundabout going back up Hamble Lane, turning left into the SFC car park entrance (about 15 yards).

From the M3, continue to the end of the motorway then follow signs for the M27 East and then as above. AA signposts will be in place after leaving the M27 at Junction 8, indicating the short distance to the park and ride site. Supporters are asked to observe the car parking terms and conditions which are displayed within the car park.

How to get there. Parking around the Friends Provident St Mary's Stadium is extremely limited so the club have set up numerous alternatives to enable you to get there comfortably, safely and efficiently.

By Bus
"St Mary's Stadium" Attached to all match tickets, are bus in bus out vouchers. These are redeemable on buses operating in Zone 6 of the city center. Theses areas are: Totton, Calmore Estate, Lordshill centre, Chilworth Roundabout, Southampton Airport, Hants CC Rose Bowl, Kanes Hill Roundabout, Bursledon Rd/ Botley Rd Junction, Portsmouth Rd/ Botley Rd Junction, Hamble, Netley. For any journeys outside this zone payment will be required. For Bus times contact: First Bus Company on 02380 224854, Solent Blue Line on 02380 618233 and Wilts & Dorset on 01202 673555. Vouchers are valid on both Solent Blue Line and First Bus services and are not transferable. they must be detached from the match ticket in the presence of the driver. All bus services from the outer zones to the City Centre are within 10 minutes walk of the Stadium. Extra buses will be laid on for matchday travel.

The following services pass by the Stadium on Northam Road:3/3A 5/5A 8A (First Southampton), 18/19 (Solent Blue Line). The following services operate via Itchen Bridge which is within sight of the stadium and only a short walk away:8, 10/10A, 11/11A, 16, 17/17A (First Southampton). In addition to the scheduled bus services, there are shuttle bus services in operation on match days from the Central Train Station and the Town Quay Ferry Terminal.

These services will commence two hours before the match kicks off and will continue to run until kick off. The service will also be in operation after the match to take passengers back to the railway station/ferry terminal. The service is not a numbered bus service and will simply say Stadium Shuttle on inbound journeys and Rail/Ferry Shuttle on outbound journeys.Passengers are to be advised that the railway shuttle service leaves from the Commercial Road side of the station outside Blechynden Terrace. The ferry shuttle will leave from the main bus stop at the terminal.Simply show your match ticket in order to use the shuttle bus service free of charge.<

By Foot The stadium is about 10 minutes walk from the City Centre and is a sign posted walk route.

By Car Please be aware that it is not advisable to head towards the ground on a match day unless you have a specific pass for one of the nearby car parks. Surrounding roads are subject to police road closures and heavy congestion. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WILL GIVE DIRECTIONS TO THOSE DRIVING TO THE FRIENDS PROVIDENT ST MARYS STADIUM ON NON-MATCHDAYS. DUE TO THE FACT THAT BRITANNIA ROAD IS SUBJECT TO A POLICE ROAD CLOSURE DO NOT HEAD IN THE DIRECTION OF BRITANNIA ROAD ON A MATCH DAY.

From M27 Eastbound Leave M27 at junction 5 (Airport) and take 4th junction off the roundabout heading to Southampton along the A335 along Stoneham Way then merge left onto Thomas Lewis Way).Head straight along this road for roughly 3 miles until the road merges into Bevois Valley Road and then Onslow Road. At the end of this road go straight on at the traffic lights and then turn left onto the dual carriageway (Dorset Street). Continue along this road until you pass the Royal South Hants Hospital on your left and the British Gas offices on your right. At the roundabout take the second exit into Six Dials. Go into the right hand lane of the dual carriageway and continue along through the traffic lights continuing along into Kingsway (following A33 on road signs).  Drive approximately for a quarter of a mile and take 4th left into St Mary Street. Follow bend to right into Chapel Road (St Mary Church will be on left hand side) and continue to the end of the road.Turn left into Marine Parade and Stadium is approximately 600 metres on the left.
From M27 Westbound. Exit the M27 at junction 8 and then turn left at the roundabout.Follow the dual carriageway on the left hand side and approach roundabout. Take 3rd junction off the roundabout (A3024) and follow this road into Southampton (this is quite a long road and will continue for approximately 4.5 miles).Cross the Northam Bridge and when you reach the set of traffic lights after the bridge (opposite Meridian Studios) turn left into Princes Street.Follow this road right to the end to get to the Stadium.
From M3 Drive to the end of the M3 southbound and get onto the M27 eastbound. Leave M27 at Junction 4 (first junction you approach) and follow the signs to get on the A33 into Southampton.Continue along this road (for approximately 3 miles) and continue to the end of this road (The Avenue). The road will merge into Dorset Street, continue along until you get to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 2nd junction (Six Dials) and on the dual carriageway stay in the right hand lane and continue along through the traffic lights continuing along into Kingsway (following A33 on road signs). Drive approximately a quarter of a mile and take 4th left into St Mary's Street. Follow bend to right into Chapel Road (St Mary's Church will be on left hand side) and continue to the end of the road.Turn left into Marine Parade and Stadium is approximately 600 metres on the left.

From M3, Junction 4
Take A331 towards Aldershot. Exit at Aldershot South and turn right at roundabout towards Town Centre. Straight on at the Traffic lights. You will pass Manor Park (on your left) Continue under the railway bridge. The Recreation Ground is just past the bridge on the right. Turn right at the next roundabout into Ordnance Road. Take the first right for the car park.
From M25, Junction 10
Take A3 towards Guildford. After Guildford, turn off onto the A31 (Hog's Back) leading to Farnham. (the exit is on the crest of a hill just past BP garage). Exit the A31 Hog's Back for the A331 signed Camberley and Aldershot. Exit the A331 at Aldershot South (the first exit off the A331). Take the first exit at the roundabout towards Town Centre. Stay in the right hand lane and go straight on at the Traffic lights. You will pass Manor Park (on your left) Continue under the railway bridge. The Recreation Ground is just past the bridge on the right (Straight over next roundabout and 3rd exit at second roundabout for multi-storey car park) Turn right at the next roundabout into Ordnance Road. Take the first right for the Parsons Barracks car park

From A325, Farnham and Fleet
Exit the A325 at the roundabout signed for Aldershot. You will pass Tesco and Willems Park on your left. Take the second exit off the roundabout. Straight on at the Traffic lights. Straight over the next roundabout. (Double back on yourself at roundabout for multi-storey car park - due to no right turn off road). Turn left at the next roundabout into Ordnance Road
Take the first right for the Parsons Barracks car park

Parking
Do not park on the grass verges or pavement on Ordnance Road. The local authority will issue parking tickets to any vehicles parked on double yellow lined roadways, or the grass verges and pavements adjacent to them.
There is limited car parking available in the Parsons Barracks car park (next to the Recreation Ground) priced at £1.00 for the whole day. For midweek fixtures the parking is usually taken by 6.30pm.
The best option is the secure and equally cheaply priced pay and display car-parks less than a five minute walk into town, (less than one minute drive from Ordnance Road car park), marked on the map above.

Directions by Rail
The nearest train station is Aldershot. The station is less than 10 minutes slow walk from the ground. It is served by mainline train on the London Waterloo to Alton line. This line includes Clapham Junction and Woking mainline stations on all services to Aldershot. We recommend checking the South West trains timetable here before departing.

By car from the M25
The easiest way to get to The Valley is to use the A2, accessed from junction two of the M25. Heading into London, the dual carriageway becomes the A102M - the approach road to the Blackwall Tunnel. Leave at the junction after the A2 exit and take the right-hand exit at the roundabout - the A206 Woolwich Road. After the major set of traffic lights at Anchor and Hope Lane and Charlton Church Lane, travel around second roundabout and take the last exit to drive back on yourself. Then take the first left into Charlton Lane. Cross the railway line and continue up the road, then right into Harvey Gardens. The stadium is on the left.

Via the South Circular
Follow the A205 South Circular Road to Woolwich and turn left into the Woolwich Road at the roundabout for the free ferry. You should then turn left into Charlton Lane and proceed as described above.
From Central London: From north of The Thames, take the A102 through the Blackwall Tunnel. Come off at the second junction and take the first exit at the roundabout. Go along the A206 Woolwich Road as above.

Train and Tube services
Connex runs train services to the railway station at Charlton, from central London in the west and north Kent to the east. The station is a short walk from the ground. Frequent services depart from Charing Cross, Waterloo East and London Bridge, with limited departures from Victoria and Cannon Street. Some services come through Dartford continue to Charlton, while connections for others can be made at Blackheath, Lewisham and London Bridge.
The Docklands Light Railway from east London connects with rail services from Greenwich and Lewisham to Charlton, while the Jubilee Line underground station at North Greenwich is a short bus ride from The Valley.

Travelling by bus
Numerous bus routes serve the ground. They include the 53 (Plumstead, Woolwich, Blackheath, New Cross, central London), the 54 (Lewisham, Catford, Beckenham, Elmers End) and the 161 (Chislehurst, Mottingham, Eltham, Woolwich, North Greenwich).
Others are the 177 (Thamesmead, Plumstead, Woolwich, Greenwich, New Cross, Peckham), the 180 (Thamesmead, Plumstead, Woolwich, Greenwich, Lewisham), the 422 (Bexleyheath, Welling, Plumstead, Blackheath, North Greenwich), the 472 (Thamesmead, Plumstead, Woolwich, North Greenwich), and the 486 (Bexleyheath, Welling, Shooters Hill and North Greenwich).
These services discharge passengers on the A206 Woolwich Road, or in Charlton Village, both a five-minute walk from the ground.
Parking at the ground
Free parking is usually available at the ground Yellow lines apply at weekends, as well as weekdays, and most parking bays are free - except around the railway station.

WEDNESDAY MARCH 22ND AT 7PM

Exit the M6, Junction 1 (or M1, Junction 19), and follow signs towards Rugby
(first exit on the roundabout). Then go straight over the next two roundabouts until you come to a main ‘Mr Kipling’ Roundabout. Take the first exit on the roundabout, which follows downhill to a mini-roundabout, where you should carry straight on. You should come past housing on both sides of the road before a large field, however, you should continue along this road (Boughton Road/Butlers Leap) until you come to its end at a T-Junction.
Turn right here, and continue up the hill past the golf course on the left and take the second left turning, which is at a mini roundabout (Butlin Road). Carry on down here until you come to cemetery gates when you should take a left turn at the top of the road and then a quick right, but the ground will be in view already.

CREWE ALEXANDRA V COVENTRY CITY

By Road (North):
Exit M6 at junction 17 and turn right at top of sliproad. At first roundabout take the first exit heading towards Crewe. Continue straight over next four roundabouts following signs for Crewe Station. When station is on your left take the next left into Gresty Road and ground is on your left.
By Road (South):Exit M6 at Junction 16 (A500). Follow signs for Crewe and at next roundabout take third exit for A5020 for Crewe. First exit at next roundabout still following Crewe signs and then straight over next roundabout (with Brocklebank pub on your left). At next roundabout take first exit into Nantwich Road so that the Crewe Arms Hotel is on your right and the Railway station on your left. After station turn right into Gresty Road and ground is on your left.

By Rail:Only a couple of minutes walk from Crewe Station. Leave station and turn left. Then take your first left into Gresty Road and you will see the ground on your left.

By Bus:K6, K4 and K44 run from the town centre down Gresty Road. Nos C84 (to/from Chester (via Nantwich) or Newcastle-under-Lyme) and K43 (to/from Nantwich) run along Nantwich Road

Parking:Away supporters parking on Crewe Gates Farm Industrial Estate (10 min walk),Municipal Car Park opposite ground.
