The home side increased their lead in the 24th minute as a through ball by passed the Sky Blues defence and fell to Nicky Maylett to slam the ball home.

All this served to fire up City who reduced the arrears thanks to a stunning strike from Katy Box who turned her marker before thundering in a shot from the edge of the area.

With Lena Baseley outstanding in defence, City stuck to their task and were level in the 58th minute when Emma Lipman inside the penalty area, knocked the ball down for Julia Marshall to fire low into the net.

Mark Phillips was delighted and said:"What a game,we could do with a few more of them every week and I'd be happy. "It was sloppy start again but the character and attitude the girls showed to come from two goals down to be 3-2 up and alright we conceded a sloppy goal at the end,was tremendous and I believe we gave them a football lesson. "Our third goal was testiment to what we are trying to do." All three goals were great finishes. "To come to a fancied team like Oldham and get a point away from home like that every week I'd be happy. "They have to come to our place now and they won't like it. The way we played today was exceptional ,the girls attitude was spot on and I can't ask for any more than that."
