Irish Folk band The Fureys are to play at the Mercia Live Level at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
The Fureys will play the 650 seat arena on Wednesday, April 13, 2011.
Liz Cooper, marketing director at the Ricoh Arena, said to the Ricoh Arena website: “There is a really big Irish contingent living in Coventry, Warwickshire and the West Midlands as a whole and I’m delighted one of Ireland’s most popular folk bands has been added to the top list of performers appearing at Mercia Live Level,” she said.
“I’m sure the band will be made to feel really welcome by people who snap up tickets for the show on April 13 and we’ll certainly be making sure we have plenty of Guinness ready to serve on the night!
“Tickets are on sale and I would urge anyone who is interested in coming along to buy a ticket before they sell out.”
Doors will open at the Mercia Live Level at 7pm ahead of a 7.45pm show start.
