Those with tickets to see Take That at the Ricoh Arena are being asked to arrive early to avoid parking problems.

Normal match regulations will be enforced for the gigs on Coventry City's pitch on June 8,9 & 10th with the 2km parking exclusion zone around the stadium being enforced.

The car parks will open from 12 noon on each day and the gates will open at 4pm.

Spaces at the park and ride or park and walk sites can be booked by clicking on www.ricoharena.com. These are available until this Sunday.

There will be 2,000 spaces available at three park-and-walk sites at Christ the King, St Finbars FC and Wayside Business Park, priced at £10 per car.

There are  a number of park-and-ride schemes that are operating from key locations around the city at Coventry Airport, Coventrians RFC, Broad Street RFC and the Belgrade Plaza car-park in the city centre. All these sites cost £10 per car.

People will be given a return ticket and they will be dropped off at the service road at the Tesco Arena retail park, which is also where they will be collected after the concert.

Parking at the ground is available for booking on line also via the same website and this is available until Wednesday June 3rd.

Anyone with any parking queries can phone 0844 873 6514.

"Delays are possible on local roads as people head for the Ricoh Arena which is why people are being advised to arrive early in the afternoon," said the Ricoh Arena's Anthony Mundy to the Ricoh Arena website.

"The residents' parking scheme will be enforced within two kilometres of the Ricoh so parking in nearby streets won't be allowed.

"There are plenty of spaces available at the park-and-ride and park-and-walk sites so there is no need for people to panic.

"If fans could give some thought as to their journey here it will help to ease the congestion on the local road network and anyone who normally passes the Ricoh Arena to travel home from work is advised to plan an alternative route.

"We are also asking people to be dropped off or collected away from the venue rather than at the Ricoh itself to keep the traffic flowing before and after the concert.

"There will be around 111,000 people heading to the venue over the three days and we hope with as much pre-planning as possible we can keep delays to a minimum."
