Great Britain won both matches today at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry to beat Russia 3-2 in the Davis Cup Europe & Africa Group I match.

Jamie Ward was first on court including a crowd which included Coventry City captain Carl Baker and he beat a clearly rattled Dimitry Tursunov, who gave the finger to some fans with a drum 6-4, 5-7, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 to level the match at 2-2.

This meant that everything was now on the final match between Dan Evans and Evgeny Donskoy. Evans was in fine form and won in three straight sets winning 6-4, 6-4, 6-1 to see Great Britain turn round a 2-0 deficit for the first time in 83 years, amid jubliant scenes.
