Coventry City U18's finished off for the Christmas period with a 0-0 draw against Birmingham City.

Back at the Alan Higgs Centre after the midweek FA Youth Cup penalties victory against Southend,Brian Borrows side were quickly on the attack with a David Burtoft corner, headed on by Dale Jones only for David Joyce to clear off the line after ten minutes.

In strong sunshine, City' had two good chances in the 33rd minute when a Hildreth twenty yarder free kick was pushed over by Blues keeper Artur Krysik and then the custodian made a good stop from a Fitzharris piledriver.

Man Of The Match Lee Hildreth, skippering the side, almost put City ahead five minutes into the second half when he was first to a corner. He drove the ball hard but Krysik got down to block.

Keeper Neil Collett made some good stops late on as both sides played out for a draw.
