City Beaten At Barnsley

Coventry City went down to a 2-0 defeat at Barnsley tonight.

The Sky Blues who had Stephen Hunt and Marcus Tudgay starting, were a goal down after ten minutes when Marc Roberts headed home from a corner. 

The Sky Blues were poor in the first half and on the hour mark were two goals down when a free kick came in and Ashley Fletcher netted at the far post.

City brought on James Maddison, Andy Rose and Darius Henderson but it was to no avail and it was another defeat for the Sky Blues who are at home to Rochdale on Saturday.
