Coventry City were beaten 2-0 at home by League One leaders Burton Albion this afternoon.
At the Ricoh Arena, City boss Tony Mowbray named a side which included Peter Ramage for his debut and saw James Maddison start against Nigel Clough's side.
City had the better of the play in the opening thirty minutes with McLoughlin pulling off a superb save from a Maddison shot on the half hour mark and five minutes after he had saved from a Maddison free kick.
Three minutes into the second half and a mistake allowed Callum Butcher in and he hit a powerful volley that flew into the net.

Burton attacked in the 72nd minute and this time, the ball came over and Stuart Beavon lashed the ball into the net to send City to a 2-0 defeat against a good team who found out the Sky Blues and made the most of their chances.
