According to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Wolves are not even close to completing a deal for Coventry City's wantway striker Leon Clarke.
The radio station is reporting: "When asked Wolves mgr Kenny Jackett said a deal is "not close"."
Wolves have already had one cash bid rejected by City's owners.
