Winning At Leeds Would Be A Great Occasion - Platt

Coventry City forward Clive Platt feels that beating Leeds United tonight at Elland Road would be a big thing for the Sky Blues.

City have only won twice at Elland Road in forty visits and speaking to Sky Blue Player, Platt said: "It's great to play at these places and this is why we're in football, for these journeys. If you go there and lose, it is just another defeat but if you win, it will be a great occasion for us.

"We want to go there, play well, prove ourselves and it will be great to come away with all three points. I don't think there is a particular reason for our away form. I haven't been playing so much so I can't really speak for the squad. But the games I have been involved in like Barnsley, the goals have changed the games.

"We were the better team in that match until the first goal but hopefully it is still early doors in the season and the squad is determined to get a decent bit of form on the road. We don't want to be worrying about it for the rest of the season.

"If all the pressure is on them then it will be great for us. Hopefully we can use that to our advantage and frustrate the crowd.

"I've done alright there in the past and I should have scored there last year when we lost 1-0. But there is no reason why we can't upset the odds."
