Wigan Move For Leon Clarke

Former Coventry City striker Leon Clarke has joined Wigan Athletic on loan.

Clarke, made 35 appearances for City, scoring twenty-three times before he walked out and joined his home town club of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The striker joined Sheffield United in 2016 and scored 31 times in 91 appearances for the Blades, who have loaned him to Wigan Athletic for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, former Coventry City loanee Gary Caldwell who is manager at Partick Thistle has been charged with harassment against referee Andrew Dallas after the 1-1 draw with Falkirk. 

Caldwell has until Tuesday, 5 February to respond, with any hearing scheduled for Thursday, 14 February.
