Whose Out The Cup?

Swansea City pulled off the major shock in today's FA Cup Matches with a 3-0 win at Premiship Sheffield United. Charlton were the second Premiership side dumped out by lower opposition with a 2-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Elsewhere, the two remaining non-league sides went out. Tamworth lost 4-1 at home to Norwich City with two goals each for former Sky Blues Dion Dublin and Darren Huckerby. Aldershot lost 4-2 at Blackpool for whom Andy Morrell scored twice.

Leicester drew 2-2 with Fulham, Birmingham drew 1-1 with Newcastle, Hull drew 1-1 with Middlesbrough, Plymouth drew 1-1 at Peterborough whilst Wolves were held 2-2 by Oldham. West Brom beat Leeds 3-1 with John
Hartson on the scoresheet.

Arsenal won 3-1 at Liverpool whilst Chelsea saw off Macclesfield 6-1.

Locally, Nuneaton Borough had a great day winning 4-0 at Lancaster City whilst Rugby Town lost 3-1 at home to Cirencester.

Leamington today equalled the Midland Alliance unbeaten record of 23 matches without losing when they won at Westfields today with Craig Dutton scoring the winner in the 54th minute . The Brakes have won their last seventeen league games and hope to take the record for themselves when they travel to Oadby Town on Tuesday night.

Atherstone lost 1-0 at home to Oadby whilst Racing Club Warwick and Stratford's games were postponed. Also off was Coventry Sphinx's home game with Southam United.
