Kieren Westwood missed Coventry City's last home game of the season amid speculation that he has refused to sign to contract offered to him by new manager Andy Thorn.

Westwood, according to the club, has a shoulder injury and so Michael Quirke was drafted in as the replacement 'keeper with Lee Burge, who has been given a professional contract missing the under 18's 1-3 home defeat to Southampton this morning, on the bench.

At the end of the game, which ended in a 0-0 draw, Westwood did a lap of the pitch with his daughter and waved to the crowd.
