West Ham Suspend Davenport's Wages

According to today's News Of The World, former Coventry City defender Calum Davenport has had his wages suspended until the outcome of his court case is decided.

Davenport who is on £20k a week at West Ham, faces charges of assaulting his sister in an attack last August which saw him stabbed in the legs.



He is currently seeking legal advice and advice from the PFA. after receiving what the News Of The World say was ' a communication from West Ham's HR Department, alleging that he may be in breach of his contract.

Both Davenport and West Ham, who have also been linked with a swap for former Sky Blue Robbie Keane, have refused to comment.
