Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray said that he, his management staff and the players were thankful to the City support who turned out in big numbers at Crewe.
According to Crewe, City has 2,292 supporters in the ground but a good number were able to get into the home parts of the stadium to see the Sky Blues win 5-0.
"It was a great day for the team but also the supporters who travelled once again in their droves and made it feel like a home game at times, and we're thankful for that support," Mowbray said to Keiran Crowley.
