Wembley Pubs To Close An Hour Before The Game

In keeping with most matches at Wembley, the pubs around the Wembley area, will close an hour before kick off for Coventry City's EFL Trophy Final against Oxford United on Sunday.

This means the pubs will shut at 1.30pm in order to get supporters to the ground in time for kick off.

Also no more than four cans can be bought at an off-licence and restaurants can only serve alcohol with food.

Those contemplating The Green Man pub might be interested to know that for the England game yesterday, one City supporter who checked the pub out said: "No service,shite beer in plastic cups, toilets flooded and over the top bouncers not letting people sing,"
