Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that it is important that the Sky Blues get the City supporters behind them early on in the game against West Ham United on Saturday.

Sam Allardyce’s side are have sold their entire allocation of 6,313 tickets and speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club’s weekly press conference, Thorn said: "They are bringing a few down here but I'm sure our fans will respond to that so the atmosphere will be fantastic.

"We really want to get going on the pitch and make everybody proud of the side and there isn't a much better platform to do it on.

"It is always important to get our fans up for it early and we will respond to that, and give them a real go. These are the occasions why we are in the game and with loads at the Ricoh, there will be nothing better than sending them home with smiles on their faces."
