SISU's Rep on the Coventry City Board, Onye Igwe has said that a longer term aim is for Coventry City to have a share of the Ricoh Arena.

In the previous three years that SISU have owned the club, getting back the share currently held by the Alan Higgs Trust has not been a priority. However, since March, the emphasis has changed and now Mr Igwe wants a share of the Arena which makes around £1m a year.

Writing in the programme for City's game against Reading, he wrote: "Longer term, I remain of the view that our collective enjoyment of coming to the Arena would be improved if the club was able to share in its ownership.

"Certainly it would enhance the Club's longer-term prospects and this can only be positive for the wider community in Coventry. Unfortunately, this is not a straight forward situation but the Board and I remained committed to finding the best solution for Coventry City."
