We Owe Plymouth - Westwood

Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood has said that City owe Plymouth for last season's 4-0 drubbing which was all over in the first 36 minutes.

Apart from an FA Cup victory in 1996 and a few wins in friendlies, City have not won a league game at Home Park since a 2-1 victory on October 23rd 1965.

Speaking to the CT, the City keeper said: “We owe Plymouth. “They spanked us 4-0 last year but we are in a different place now. At that time we were playing for nothing and we weren’t really doing it, but we are in a different zone now and we need points as well as they do.

“It should be end-to-end but we are going there in high spirits. We desperately needed a win on Saturday and we got it, albeit hanging on in the end, and we know we have to build on that now.”
