Coventry City midfielder Gary Deegan has agreed with supporters in that City need to start playing until the final whistle.

Against Portsmouth last Tuesday and at Ipswich on Saturday, City conceded very late goals which cost them the game.

Speaking to the club website, Deegan said: "It happened on Tuesday against Portsmouth and it's happened again and we need to start seeing games out and make sure we play to the whistle.

"The manager was not happy about the amount of injury time but he was not happy with the way we switched off at the end of the game either because we need to see it out.

"It's the second time it has happened to us in a week and we need to make sure we stay focused for the full 90 minutes.

"It's been a big week for myself with making my full debut but a goal like that right at the end is hard to take considering how hard we battled to get something out of the game."
