Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he will be able to utilise Andy Rose in this team.
Rose, who was last playing in Seattle, now has two U21 games under his belt and speaking about the Australian midfielder to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, the City boss said: “I went to Barnsley to watch him in the Under-21s on Monday.
“He’s a very good footballer with a good voice and rate of enthusiasm. He is good on the ball so let’s see if we can utilise him.
"I think we can because he understands the game, rarely gives the ball away and is a different type of player to what we have got.
“He’s a very infectious type of player for the team, full of urgency and energy; just a good football player.
I had a good chat with him after watching him in the 21s. He’s a good football player and he just has to get up to the tempo of what’s required.
“I think he’s physically ready to play and it’s just the demands of the role and the game and I think he’s 80 per cent there, so there’s a fair chance he’ll be around the squad this weekend."
