We Can Do Better - Coleman

The Coventry City boss Chris Coleman is demanding a performance from his players at Blackpool tomorrow.

City have not scored in their last two matches and Coleman said to the CT: "We can do a lot better than we have done in our last two performances but that's the way football is.

"You're not going to win every game, you're not going to play well every game, and when that happens we won't brush it under the carpet - we'll do what needs to be done.

"But there will be no panic or anything like that - it's going to happen and the important thing is how you react.

"We're a little bit down after losing at Swansea but you've got to get back on the horse.

"That's what we have to do at Blackpool and I'm confident we will, because we've got a good dressing room here and the lads have got a great work ethic.

"I'm not saying that we're going to answer everybody's prayers on Saturday, but the players know where they need to improve and they're eager to do it.

"It won't be easy because Ian Holloway has done a good job at Blackpool; they've drawn all four games in the league, which proves that they are very difficult to beat, and they'll be on a high after beating Wigan in the Carling Cup."
