Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that he wants his team to build on the performance they put in against West Ham on Saturday and use it to get a result against Cardiff City tonight.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "We were really disappointed but yesterday morning, the boys have come out and been good so we are really looking forward to tonight.

"Everything that we have worked on was really high on Saturday and that's exactly what we need. It was the highest it has been all season and again this morning; I think we are getting back to where we were last season.

"We know if we keep performing like that, we are going to get a result and then hopefully we can get on a little run."

On Ben Turner and Aron Gunnarsson who return with Cardiff City tonight, Thorn said: "There is a record that when they go away and come back to play against us, they don't do very well so we would be happy with that happening.

"They are good players and good lads, and we will welcome them back here. They are strong and honest players and after the match I will be wishing them all the best for the future.

"But I am focused on the boys we have got and how we are going to get the best out of them. The main focus won't be the players coming back but getting a result."
