Paul Watson is expected to be offered a contract today after impressing in pre-season.
The defender and useful crosser of the ball was released by Brighton in the summer and played at right back during some of the pre-season games.
However, he may switch sides to provide cover for Marcus Hall and the injured Stuart Giddings.
