Waggott: We Believe Prices Pitched At Right Level

Coventry City CEO Steve Waggott feels that the admission prices have been dropped to the right levels.

For the new season, City will be charging £20 for adults, £15 concessions and £7 for juniors with prices £2 cheaper if you buy on the day and speaking to the club website about the price reduction as part of the club's campaign to make football more affordable, Steve Waggott said: Steve Waggott said: “We’ve made the pricing simpler and have cut the cost of Standard Zone tickets for adults and for children – dramatically so when they are bought online.

“We dropped the matchday increase very quickly after our return to the Ricoh Arena last season and we have maintained that policy but we wanted to incentivise fans who wanted to buy online.

“Our commitment to making football more affordable – especially to families – is highlighted once again in these prices. For example, for an adult to bring a couple of JSBs under the age of 12 into the Family Zone is just £20 for a match and even less when the purchase is carried out online.

“We believe the prices are pitched at the right level but I must emphasise again that the cheapest way to support the team week-in, week-out is to buy a Season Ticket which cuts the ‘per match’ adult price almost in half."
