View of The City Stadium Meeting

Well you will be able to read other people's versions of what was said on other websites so I'm not going to repeat everything.

Suffice to say - there were about 70 people in the room. There were 3 people on the panel - Sandra Garlick, someone from CBRE (the people looking for a site) and someone from the architects.

Whether you believe it or not, they did put up some general information as to what they would be looking for and about fan's input for the new ground.

The room was divided as to those who believe and those who don't. The main discussion was about capacity which would start at 12,000 and could then rise to 15k, 20k, 25k etc if needed.

The site to be chosen would be able to take the increase with new planning permission.

There was no point asking about the site location you were never going to get any information like that!!!

It was mainly a forum to get fan's views on what they want in a new stadium.

The next meeting for all fan's is on 20th January and you need to book your place. I would say - go if you can - and listen for yourself.

If you cannot make a meeting but have ideas for a new stadium or want to be involved on the committee you can email sandra.garlick@ccfcstadiumforum.co.uk

Personally I am still on the fence but if we are having a new stadium let's at least have one that has our club's "DNA" about it.
