Former Coventry City forward Michael Mifsud scored twice for Malta on Tuesday night in a 3-2 win over San Marino at the Serraville Stadium.
San Marino took the lead but Malta came back with Mifsud and Andrei Agius scoring.
Near the end of the game, Mifsud scored his 36th goal for his country in 91 appearances and although the hosts pulled a goal back, Malta held on to win.
