Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that he is 'very close to agreeing terms with two players' prior to the opening of the January transfer window.
Robins said at this morning's press conference that he had to balance the books, which could mean moving players on in order to bring in new players but was looking to strengthen his squad.
The City boss refused to be drawn on what positions the two players play in but told the Coventry Observer: “We’ve got a couple of players we are very close to agreement with to bring in. That will give us a boost without a doubt.
“I’d like to resolve all the issues, whether I can or not in this transfer window remains to be seen.
"We’ve got to live within our means and make sure we do as well as we can in the transfer market with what we’ve got available.”
