Former Sky Blues Richard Duffy and Craig Bellamy played for Wales in a 2-0 defeat against Brazil at White Hart Lane.

Locally, Rugby Town drew 1-1 at Stamford.

In the Midland Alliance, Leamington won again. This time beating Westfields 3-2. Jon Adams put the Brakes ahead after only eight seconds. Josh Blake scored in the seventh minute. The Hereford based club came back with goals from Burton (9) and Craddock (77) only for Leamington's Stuart Herlihy to score the winner in the 82nd minute.

Elsewhere, Atherstone Town beat Loughborough 3-0 with goals from Civzilis, Hewitt and Blake whilst Racing Club Warwick beat Studley 4-2.
