Coventry City, according to the Coventry Telegraph’s Andy Turner, are set to sign Marcus Tudgay today.

The deal to sign the striker who was offered a new deal by the Sky Blues is subject Tuday, who made 23 appearances for the Sky Blues last season, passing a medical.

“I think Marcus is going to get done today,” said Tony Mowbray to the Coventry Telegraph’s Andy Turner.

“Even though Marcus played for us last season he’s still going to have a medical as all players who sign will have. The physio obviously knows Marcus but we have to be prudent about re-signing a player for another year because the right thing to do is assess everything.

“I think he has his medical today and scans the physio thinks he needs that are pertinent to where his injuries might have been. And then hopefully it will get done.”
