Aron Gunnarsson has said that he felt it was the right time to leave Coventry City.
Gunnarsson who is now in Spain with his new club Cardiff City told Wales On-Line: “Of course when you have been somewhere for a few years it is tough to leave.
“I made some very good friends at Coventry and there are a lot of people I will be staying in touch with.
“But I do think it was the right time to move on and do something different and Cardiff just felt the right place for me to do that.
“I felt I needed a fresh set of challenges and I think that it what I am going to get here.”
