Three Coventry City supporters were arrested during the 2-1 defeat at Notts County yesterday.

Two were arrested by Notitnghamshire Police for going on the pitch in celebration when Jordan Ponticelli equalised in the 83rd minute.

One was arrested for possession of a pyrotechnic (flare or smoke bomb). One blue flare was let off before the game and there were more blue flares following the City goal amid very short-lived celebrations, despite threats by the police of prosecution and City supporters sniffed by a dog trained in explosives on entrance to the ground.

There have been no reports of any arrests at The Southbank Pub, following reports of a fight to which Nottinghamshire Police turned out in large numbers.
