Coventry City manager Andy Thorn was pleased with his side in their 3-0 win at Hinckley United on Wednesday night.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "I was very pleased with the boys. They are embracing what we are trying to do and it's always nice to get goals but the main thing for us is to make sure we get our fitness up to the right level.

"All the boys got in 45 minutes again today which is important and I was pleased again with the way the young lads came on in the second half and went about their business.

"It's another step up against Kettering on Saturday and we're looking forward to that but the jump will be nothing in comparison to our first game of the season against Leicester and that is what we have our eye on.

"We just have to keep doing what we are doing and if we continue to do that then we can get to where we want to be."
