Coventry City manager Andy Thorn was pleased with the first day back at training for his players.
Speaking to the club website, Thorn said: "We had a very good day. Everybody was glad to be back and there was a lively atmosphere.
"We put the players through some tests and they had the ball at their feet. We have a complete programme worked out and we got the footballs out in the very first session. We are planning ahead for a whole season not just for August 6.
"I outlined our expectations for the season and everybody was very bright and bubbly."
