Coventry City manager Andy Thorn is hoping finally to make a signing.
Thorn, who has already lost a number of targets due to a number of factors, hopes that a deal to bring in John Fleck from deeply troubled club Rangers will be completed later today.
The 20 year old attacking midfielder, seen as an ideal replacement for Sammy Clingan, has refused to sign for Rangers Newco, who are not getting the votes they need to play in the SPL in the new season and are now getting objections from League One clubs, who feel this new club should start on the bottom rung of Scottish football.
