Thorn Disappointed With Defeat To Nuneaton

Coventry City Manager Andy Thorn has said that he, like the City support, was disappointed with the 1-0 defeat to Nuneaton Town yesterday.

 

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn who fielded a mix of first team, trialists and youngsters at Liberty Way, said: "I'm disappointed because that was not what we wanted from the game. Yes we had some young boys out there but given the fact I've got a pretty good idea of what my starting 11 will be I was hoping some of the lads would go out there and give me something to think about and they didn't do that.

 

"It's pre-season and it's all about fitness and as I've said before the results are not really important but you still want a performance and we didn't get that.."
