Thomas Brothers Back In Footy

Former Sky Blues Danny Thomas and Valmore Thomas are back in football at Racing Club Warwick.

Danny, a fine defender who later played for Spurs is a qualified physio with a successful practice in Coventry and will be employed as an advisor/physio.

His brother Valmore who was released after playing for City's Youth team and Reserves will be the assistant manager to Jose Ascensao who was employed as a Portuguese translator by CCFC.

Racing Club will have to start their FA Vase campaign in the first round with an away tie at Graham Street Pimms. In the 2nd Round draw, RC will travel to Rainworth if they win. 

Other second round ties see Coventry Sphinx travel to either Alvechurch or Shirebrook, Coventry Copsewood will play Shawbury United at home. Nuneaton Griff are also at home to Tividale as are Atherstone Town who play Norton United.

If Southam United can overcome Teversal in the first round, they will also be at home to either Cradley or Barnt Green Spartak.
