Locally, Nuneaton Borough were on good form beating Leigh RMI 3-1 at Manor Park.

In Southern League both of the two teams from the Coventry and Warwickshire area lost.Rugby Town went down 1-0 at Bath City whilst Bedworth United lost 2-0 at Ashford Town.

Midland Alliance scores saw Leamington draw 1-1 at Biddulph Victoria whilst Racing Club Warwick beat Bolehall St Michaels 1-0 at home.

Atherstone Town remain top of the Midland Combination Premier Division with an 8-0 victory at Pilkington XXX. Coventry Sphinx kept up the pressure beating Dudley Sports 5-0 with Coventry Copsewood beating Highgate United 2-1. Nuneaton Griff beat Massey Ferguson 2-0 and Southam United won 2-0 at Alveston.

Both Kenilworth Town and Stockingford's games were postponed but Warwick Town lost 2-0 at Bartley Green. Kenilworth Wardens drew 1-1 with AEI Rugby.
