Tenth Time Peterborough Travel To Face City

Saturday will see Coventry City taking on Peterborough for the tenth time in a league and cup fixture at ‘home’.

City have won six of the previous nine meetings with two draws and a defeat, scoring 23 goals to Peterborough’s 18.

City’s biggest win against Peterborough is a 4-2 win on December 26th 2013 in a game played at Sixfields.

The last time the sides met at the Ricoh Arena was on Saturday October 25th 2014 and saw City come from behind to win 3-2.

Peterborough led through first half goals from Jon Taylor and Marcus Maddison but Ryan Haynes pulled a goal back in the 48th minute with Jim O’Brien equalising in the 62nd minute and two minutes later, Frank Nouble gave City the lead which they did not lose.
