According to the News Of The World today, Sunderland are to step up their interest in Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood.
The paper claims that the Mackams have already bid £3m for the Republic Of Ireland international and Steve Bruce has sent scouts to check on the progress of Westwood in readiness for a bid in January.
