According to reports, Tottenham failed to match Coventry City's valuation of Keiren Westwood.

Spurs made an inquiry after attempts to land Watford keeper Scott Loach failed, but were unwilling to pay £3m for the Republic Of Ireland keeper.

"I didn't think I was going anywhere and it wouldn't have been in my hands even if I did," said Keiren Westwood to the CT.

"It's business as usual. "I have never had my head turned by any of the speculation so I will just carry on as normal.

"I have come from the Conference and worked my way back up to the Championship so I have never really taken much notice of it.

"When I started playing for Carlisle at 19 there was speculation and nothing ever happened, I am 25 years old now so I am a bit older and wiser and more experienced, so it doesn't worry me."
