Coventry Sphinx won their first pre-season friendly with a 5-2 victory over Nuneaton Griff this evening.
There was a good attendance for what was an enjoyable game which saw former Sky Blue Tom Bates guesting for the visitors and some good performances from some of the new young Sphinx players.
