Coventry Sphinx went down to a 6-0 home defeat tonight in a pre-season game against Midland Combination Division One side Alvis.
Demi Schmeichel hit a hat-trick for Rob Kimberlin's side who were three goals up in eleven minutes.
Kelvin Thompson scored twice with Fabian Spencer also on the scoresheet in a game which saw Sphinx midfielder Kyle Rhodes sent off ten minutes after he had come on as a half-time substitute.
