Coventry Sphinx became the last side to win the Coventry Evening Telegraph Cup Final at Highfield Road and the first to win the cup at the Ricoh Arena with a 4-1 victory over local rivals Coventry Copsewood.

Copsewood managed by City fan Scott Furlong took a fourth minute lead through Curtis Jackson who tapped home from a Kim Green knock down.

Eight minutes later, Sphinx drew level thanks to a Robbie Stephenson free kick from the edge of the area.

The Siddeley Avenue based club were always on top and in the 67th minute,Craig Civzellis, the Covsupport Man Of The Match, headed in from a Jamie Towers cross.

Sphinx top scorer Adam Kinder added two more to take his tally for the season to 59 which is a club record when he steered the ball home in the 75th minute and two minutes from time lashed the ball home from ten yards.
